Storage -Store in cool and dry place 
Incompability - With acid, ammonium salt, Potassium & Sodium pyro sulfite, Strong oxidizing agent, Producer explosive mixture with combustible substance. Reacts with sulphuric acid producing nitric acid with liberation of Nitrous Oxide. 
Handling - Use personal protective equipment to avoid skin contact Effect of over exposure acute poisoning may occur with contamination of food and water. Nitrates are converted into Nitrated by reduction in human system promoting the formation of methaemoglobin. Symptoms of Nitrite poisoning will occur such as Haemoeathic injuries and drop in blood pressure.
Emergency and First Aid - Eye contact. Wash with plenty of water. In case of intake rinse the mouth with water and consult physician immediately.
